Biography

My name is Justin Foster and I am a Senior Computer Science Student at UT Austin. I have loved to build my entire life beginning with legos and eventually becoming code. In my free time, I enjoy carpentry and photography as some of my hobbies. I have built a set of record shelves and an 8 foot table as well as gone on some amazing trips where I captured great photos. I am deeply passionate about Space and its intersection with cutting-edge technology and it is my dream to be able to add my contribution to this technology.

  • Tasked to build the machine learning and computer vision algorithms that enabled Seeker to identify Northrop-Grumman Cygnus satellite and estimate relative bearing
  • Completed performance analysis and optimization of software to further mission success

Blender Image Generation

Using Blender’s python API, I generated image sets of the Cygnus Satellite in orbit in order for the TSL Seeker team’s machine learning pipeline to do Pose Estimation of its simulated flight.

Created a dogfighting pygame featuring all microsoft painted sprites

Evil Hangman

This is a rigged game of hangman where the game refuses to choose a word until it absolutely must

This is a very simple Sudoku Solver I wrote once when I was bored
